Mount a rest, reel seat or line puller

These bowfishing accessories bolt onto the riser without taking the bow apart. Pick the right version for your bow and hand, use the existing threaded holes, and check the arrow lines up with the string.

  • Difficulty Easy
  • Time 15–30 minutes
  • For 9 Oneida models

Our aluminum rests come right- or left-hand. The Graptor reel seat has adapters for LVX/Osprey, G-Rex/American Eagle, Gnat/Leviathon or universal. The line puller is listed for the Aero-Force, Black Eagle, Extreme Eagle, Kestrel, Osprey and Phoenix.

All how-to guides

We're still double-checking this guide against how we do it in the shop. If anything doesn't match your bow, stop and text us or call 270-318-2020.

Before you start

  • Order the right hand for rests.
  • Never drill or cut your bow; Oneida says it voids the warranty and creates safety problems.
  • Wear safety glasses.

Steps

  1. Check you have the right version for your bow and hand.
  2. Use the riser's existing threaded holes.
  3. 1980s–90s bows: take ALL the weight off (timing screw loose first) before removing any pylon screw, or the pylon can shift.
  4. Bolt the rest to the riser at the shelf with the supplied screw.
  5. Slide the rest in or out until the arrow tip lines up with the string; on 1990s bows, center the arrow over the plunger hole.
  6. Thread the reel seat into the reel or stabilizer hole, fitting the Graptor adapter for your bow.
  7. Mount the line puller as our product photos show.
  8. Snug the screws without cranking; Oneida warned over-tightened quiver adapters could snap in the riser.
  9. Draw slowly and check nothing touches the string or cables or blocks the outboard limbs.
  10. Recheck the screws before every trip.

Tips

  • Mid-1991-on Strike Eagle and Aero-Force risers have a tapped quiver boss, so no pylon screw comes out. (Dealer Instructions p.41)
